The Book
'MAFIA' DON: Donald Trump's 40 years of Mob ties dramatically explodes the cornerstone of the Trump mystique: that he is "independent". Published long before he was considered a serious presidential contender, the book documents the many "special interests" with their hooks in Mr. Trump. As president, Mr. Trump has put himself into the position of being a high value target of blackmail and extortion from shady associates, past and present.
A jaw dropping read, every ugly revelation has been thoroughly documented. The adage, truth is stranger than fiction, comes to life in the pages of this book.
Readers will realize by the final chapter that the person controlling history's most destructive nuclear arsenal may be little more than the semi-blind pawn of foreign interests and criminal blackmailers.
The Man
Many believed Donald J. Trump would make the greatest president in the history of the United States; others feared he'd become the greatest train wreck. While acknowleging his strengths, this book warned of the potentially horrendous downside.
From builder and developer to casino operator to president, the influence of criminal elements has woven a sinister web around Mr. Trump that he has taken pains to hide. His refusal to release his tax returns is the merest tip of a sordid iceberg. His sometimes hateful rhetoric, racist policies, and choice of extremist friends becomes more understandable against that backdrop.
The "tough guy" attitude he assumes is fake. It is his unwitting attempt to copy the criminal tough guys who've pushed him around for so much of his career. Mafia hoods may have succeeded in dominating Trump, but such make very poor role models for effectively solving the myriad problems facing the USA and the world.

One year before he took office, this book was the first to expose Trump's vulnerability to blackmail. Less than 100 days into his presidency, one of the criminals documented in the "Mafia Don' book has already threatened 'not to expose him' in return for a mere 2.5 million dollars.
The book was the first to point out his Russian connections. That string is still in need of pulling. See p. 82.
The book predicted Trump would win the election and what would happen if he refused to come clean on his past activities and associations. By dedicating himself to the hopeless task of keeping his shady connections secret, he's ensured the inexorable rush towards a presidential implosion.
